MEETING TIME & LOCATION
+ UHACC meets at Illinois Wesleyan University's Hanson Student Center at 7:00pm every Wednesday.
+ UHACC "movie-night" is the 1st Wednesday of each month.
+ Regular meetings will occur on 2nd, 4th and (if occuring) 5th Wednesdays
+ Business meetings will take place every 3rd Wednesday.
+ Regular Meetings may be moved to a different location for special events with one weeks notice.
DUES
+ Dues are $15 per year for students, $40 for nonstudents/professionals, coming due at the beginning of the new year with a deadline of February 15.
+ The deadline shall be observed for account and privilege adjustments in concurrence with changes in membership status.
+ Dues can be paid in arrears to facilitate current membership status change. Dues may also be accepted as installments or waived entirely due to financial hardship by petitioning to and approval from the executive board.
WEB HOSTING (for members)
+ UHACC may agree to host a member's web site or domain. If approved, fee for this service will be:
Web hosting: $45 per year for html hosting ONLY.
Hosting year spans from January 1 until December 31
Hosting fees shall be paid up by February 15 else the site owner faces disabling of the site.
Site backups are the responsibility of the site owner.
Active content may only be granted after full project disclosure and majority exec board acceptance. (must petition an exec board member)
+ SQL database access can be granted in special cases. Again, this will only be granted after full project disclosure and majority exec board acceptance. Extra charges may apply.
+ UHACC exec board or sysadmin reserve the right to shut down any site if it is found to cause an undue burden on the club server or our ISP, AUP violation, DoS, service disruption, or other suckage.
WEB HOSTING (for non-members)
+ UHACC may elect to host sites for outsite persons or entities. If allowed, rates and terms will be determined on a case by case basis by the Executive Board.
REPRESENTING UHACC
+ When representing UHACC in an official capacity, members should not spit, do anything degrading, or run Windows.
ACCEPTABLE UNIX
+ Even though SCO is technically part of the body of software known as Unix, its use is vehemently discouraged, if not prohibited. Use of SCO for anything besides tp or fuel source is grounds for disciplinary action. If faced with
the grave possibility of using SCO, the proper UHACC member shall practice defenestration followed by a vigorous bath.
